im just popping by to say that the blog is still living life on the edge, and when i say on the edge i mean on the edge of a thread...

IB equals no life, is really a saying that is becoming a fact.

im soo caught up but that is no excuse to stop blogging right..

well here's the gist of the past 2 months...

Extended Essays have started, basically finding out a research question and having 8 months before we hand it in, hopefully my all goes well.

Personal Statements for our uni apps, just printed out intro only.

BGIC debate which is gonna be really fun but nerve wracking!! MARC if by any living chance u are reading this, why arent u in BGIC??

CAS term 2 activities, KK training, unfit as hell, almost fainted the other day and i wasnt even past the playground at the park yet..LOL. working at Secret Recipe for awhile, did a self initiative, where my frens and i taught kids who were unfortunately deaf how to swim. that was just mind blowingly cool!!

joined choir again, but its for CAS so at least i get something out of it..

plus a few more stuff, can tink of them right now, and it goes to show how interesting the activities are..=P

other than that, my dad got an iphone.

most addictive thing on earth ever since texting, and my word does the battery life deplete faster than you can say iphone!!

i tink im losing quite a fair bit of weight, and i tink im gonna be losing mre due to exams coming up in about 3 weeks or so...hope i can score good grades.

erm...other than that, i tink that's what is at the top of my head at the mo...

FINALLY HOLIDAYS!!!

which i bet is gonna fly past me in no time and soon i'll be finishing year 12 and starting year 13..sigh.

anyways, manage to do whatever i was suppose to do before enjoying my holidays, except that i wussed out of the speech i was suppose to give...yea i backed out..

no particular reason, probably stage fright and many other tiny details.

right now im still not able to really enjoy my holidays, got quite a few books to read for english,

MANNN!!!! sooo much testosterone involved and shirtless-ness its a movie worth watching again for sure.

i loved every bit of it, even if the Cullens were overpowered by the Wolves in terms of screeen time, but nevertheless i loved it! cant wait for

ECLIPSE! btw i really liked the cliffhanger at the end of NEW MOON, honestly i thought the movie was still gonna be on for at least half an hour more, but it just ended and the wait just couldnt get any longer...

so yea, tht has been my week so far, just pulling strands of hair out and trying to enjoy the pressure as much as possible...

100th post, and it couldnt come at a better time. no, i havent got internet connection at my house yet, no, i havent gotten a number here in brunei, yet, no...uhhh..i havent gotten a new WHATEVER! yet...

i just got back from PHUKET, THAILAND y'all!!

how i could have been at that beach to take that picture...

i went to Phuket along with my footie frens and coaches to join and compete in this tournament, that happens annually.

the tournament was a 2 day thing, friday and saturday were the games. mind you, it was blistering hot and im glad i didnt get a bad sunburn, but as for my skin i look like roasted chicken.

so basically, we had to meet up at the airport for group check-in at 630, in the freaking morning!! then dragged myself to the waiting lounge and just hang out. then we boarded round 9 ish, forgot the time..
landed in Singapore about an hour and a half later, and went shopping the whole day, bought loads of stuff, will show pics once i upload some other time. then after that we checked in to again board another plane to Phuket.
once in Phuket, there was a time difference of one hour, between Brunei, so let's say if in Thailand it was 930, then in Brunei it was 1030, so it was kinda hard to adjust to at first. The next 2 days were just playing footie and having fun, regardless of the result, u guess should have guessed by now, that the result wasnt good, then again we conceded terrible unlucky goals, and lost most by 1-0. there is always next year!! and football funday next week!
then came sunday, where we did the same thing like thursday, but instead of shopping around the city, we stayed in the airport caused we were just tooooo tired to do anytin.

no worries, once i upload pics, i exaggerate more, as for now, just check back every 5 months and im sure u will get an update!! LOL

kidding, hopefully end of the month i could be bloggin regularly..

it's been sometime huh??

well..quite a fair bit has happened..
let's start from, the weekend...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

not much happened...

worried continuously, about economics test about: elasticity, demand and supply, monopoly, perfect competition, and PPC.

then, had some football matches to watch, turns out it was pretty late, and Arsenal drew.

Monday, not much happened, studied for econs, until 12...ppffftt.
Today, had a talk about climate change, boring boring boring, nearly fell asleep. then had econs test, kinda challenging, then had football practice, wore my beautiful new shoes, thanks to my lovely daddy!! (hugs+muaxs=love)

it's sooooooooo comfortable!!!!

tomorrow, carry on with my CAS hours, toddler and painting club tmr.

thurs, there is another talk, but since it's only limited to 5 people, i might let others go..owh owh owh, and there is choir as well, not toooo bad for now..

friday is International Day! where i guess it would be packed with lots of activities and such, and everyone has to wear their national costume, so i guess im wearing BAJU KURUNG.

saturday, got SOAS reading which i find fun and helpful, and it's also HALLOWEEN! got a party/hangout at a fren's place, not sure wat to dress up as,

a child that trick or treats
a footballer..LOL
a delivery person carrying my beloved potato salad??

sigh...not sure yet...but potato salad is one thing im sure to bring.

as for academically, i have an eng hmk due, thurs and im dropping spanish for mandarin, easier i guess, plus it wud be a disgrace to be a chinese and not be able to speak,write and read it fluently.

having a short school break, for 4 days, which isnt much but i'll take it. most of the teachers are goin to KK, for some diving!! and seafood most probably.

and...erm....got another match with JIS week after next, then the following week is PHUKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Managed to get english over, done and passed up with. I had no idea wat i was writing though, need to get use to reading poems and analyzing them which is tougher than u think.
I also got spanish, where i had to do a personal profile thing where i talk about myself, my age, bday, stuff like that, how i look and how i am, and also do that for my family and mention my pets. i can say it was much easier than eng, u blive that spanish easier than english?? lol, yea well i at least knew wat i was sayin in spanish, but ended up having tons of grammatical errors, but i guess everyone learns right??
yea, me learning how to not make tons of mistakes again.

still got DT due next week, and i tell u, sometimes i find that getting lost in class has it's pros and cons, the good is that sometimes it nice to have no clue of what the teacher might be saying so he could repeat, but once u get lost the second time, it's more like saying, shit i really am lost, so help me god!
i did get lost the second time, as well as most of everyone, as we had to hand draw our houses and show a shadow diagram...
it's still confusing, as u can probably guess, im having trouble in telling you what im haivng trouble in, get it??

LOL.
anyways, i have a econs test next tues. (monopoly, elasticity, demand and supply, perfcet competition.)

almost coming to the weekend, where i can think of enjoying, as the DT is bugging me. plus i got tons of activities that need to be done in order to fulfill CAS hours.

so let's i really am enthusiastic about it, my week would look like this.

Wed: painting (Creativity), Toddler's Group (Service)
Thurs: nothing after school, choir club (Creativity)
Fri: nothing
Sat: SOAS reading to Year 7s (Service)

on the side of all that, i signed up for BruneiGlobalInternationalConference as a delegate, it's sort of a debate thing, where this year's theme is Children's rights. and i joined Eco-club, Sports Junior Council.

that's a lot of stuff, dont tell me i dont have enough CAS hours. the thing is, IB is great. full-stop. but i think the CAS thing should be of a credit thing, where it is voluntary for the student to take up and if so no limit on hours being done, as it puts pressure on students to take up activities in which they might not have an interest in. 150 hours is a lot of hours, but then again one of the teachers said that a student managed 350 hours, which is great but wat about the other students?? did they get to 350 hours?? not necessarily, why?? lack of interest, enthusiasm, commitment to studies, family commitments...

so saying that CAS is a great way to get involve with other students, yes it is true, but then again, the quota on hours is in my opinion abit daunting and intimidating, to me at least. as i may be bitching and sulking,LOL i jsut sure hope i get through IB with flying colors and be able to make my parents and myself proud.

tmr got some Galilean Night, where im bringin my sisters to my school, where they can do some activities, have fun and mayb get a chance to see the moon and jupiter through telescopes. shud be fun, after a whirlwind week, i tink i deserve some milky way.
other than that, i did watch WHITEOUT as well, damn nice! loved it, even though i was close to peeing in my pants for half of the show. but Kate Beckinsale still has her acting chops. hmmm...wat else has been revolving around me?? oh yea..New Moon Soundtrack came out in the States sometime ago, hope it comes out in KL soon so my daddy can get it.

oh yea and we have a Car Boot Sale, this weekend, gonna help there, but not sure what time to get up, again this is for CAS hours. and erm....got International Day next friday, will let u knw wats happening out and about.

do u have tht feeling of knowing that an assignment or homework is due..but u just can get urself to do it just yet....
reasons:
u sort of know how, but is just lazy to get to it
u have no idea how, and have a fear of failure
u don bother too much with it, as it is due but not the next day
u just don give a rat's ass bout it and hope u will learn something from class when teachers go through it.

well...for me it definitely aint the last one, but sometimes it goes from the firsst, then second then third or at times it is just all three...

i manage to get spanish and math and DT out of the way, but eng commentary is still due and with the teacher mentioning that a good commentary is at least 6 pages long, i just find it soooooo daunting and impossible, partly due to myseelf being lazy and not up for it as well as not starting yet..

plus the commentary is tough, my first was only like 1-2 pages long. and it's typed out, in the exam its hand written, can u imagine how much we have to write in 2 hours...gosh!!

plus i got DT tmr, and apparently we were suppose to be working on a shadow diagram on our house, im confused as to whether it is to be done in school already or do we have to download the program and do it at home...the teacher did give us the handout instructions but it wasnt clearly explained, so hopefully i can finish it tmr and not have a very confusing homework due...

other than that for the weekend, it has been pretty restless for me, im just always thinking everytime, at times worrying, not sure about what, life, school, frens, it just goes on and on and on...

hectic these few days, other than a disappointing football re-match against JIS, i got tons of hmk yet again, just finished my spanish. still got maths to do and eng to do research on, work work work!!!

as for today,we had a food sale, during lunchtime, which i would like to tell u is one hours worth of lunchtime. we took an hour to selll everything but the foods we sold we more or less sold in about 20 mins-30 mins. food we sold:
curry puffs
cakes
cookies
more cakes and cookies
nasi lemak
coke
sprite
and of course Burgers from me! remember those burgers folks?? i bet u guys cud taste it now right??

yea me too....

overall successful food sale, raised about 450++ dollars, which wud go to the funding for the trip of Phuket, so thanks to anyone who contributed!

as usual on Thursdays we have a 40 min assembly, and by the end of it, there were again many activities yet to come, but im soooooo
EXCITED about one in particular,

CLIMBING MT KINABALU!!!

we got the forms today, but the trip isnt until April of next year, nevertheless it's a first come first serve basis thing, so only limited to 12 spots, hopefully, fingers crossed my dad could get the payment by tmr, which im sure many people wud be gunning to get their payments over and done with. as for the remaining students, they also cna go but they have other good options as well, all in all, going there is to haev fun and
MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
whether it's for yourself or for others.

thts bout it i guess..not much to blog about now, as im still thinking of other things, it's wondering elsewhere nowadays.

got back from TEMBURONG, one word..SHIT!!

as in man, was it probably the most muscle-aching thing i have ever done, and at first it may seem like gooodddd fun, but after alll that, i come back and muscles ache really bad.

tell u guys what we did....agak-agak

Day 1: when we got there, we took some breakfast i tink, so first we all gathered at the jetty, then took about a 45 min boat ride to another jetty where we got onto a bus and it was probably about 30-40 mins to the OBBD area.
once we got there we got separated into groups of 2, with about 16 students in each group. then we got our group instructor to brief us on some stuff.
then had breakfast, rested for awhile, then had a boring first-aid lesson, it was only at about 3 that the activity began, which wasnt like Permai when we got there we began immendiately. so yea, 3 someting we got suited up for the

probably the best activity i did in the trip.
but i had to wait until the second day, as it was pouring rain, now the rain wasnt the problem, cuz the first group manage to finish up theirs, then LIGHTNING came and then we had to stop..
so anyways, we all got dried up for another activity, which was basically sorting out what we were going to bring the next day for our camping/trekking.
it took sooooooo long as we had to bring
food=canned foods, bread instant food,etc
cooking utensils, little stove, containers
fuel, tent equipment, knives,
and a whole shitload of stuff..
that plus ur own luggage, so all in all it was a challenge to begin with... we didnt sleep until about 11-12, as the instructor wanted to teach us how to navigate, cuz he would just be following us, and only correcting us when are wrong.

manage to get about 4-5 hours of sleep, on a table like bed, in a sort of cabin, and when i say cabin, it's more like the beginning stages of the cabin when being built.

Day 2: we got up to a very ~~enthusiastic~~ annoying fire drill, where the instructors were ringing the fire bell and calling out in a monotonous tone ,"fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, etc" as u knw la, we all strolled, took our time to get to the assembly point. once we reached there, the instructor asked us why we were strolling like we were at DUHH MALL! then again his tone wasnt very well rehearsed, but the goal was achieved, which was to wake us up!
we were soooooo up by then, a tad groggy, but we got our stuff packed up and got some breakfast, and finish up the flying fox, and got suited up for some water activity, which was called DIP and FLOAT where we as a group went to the river, and as we held each others life vest by the side strap dip into the collllddd chilling water. but before we dipped in we had to greet out loud, "SELAMAT PAGI, SUNGAI TEMBURONG!!!!!!". then diiiiipppppp, mannnnnn was it the dip of my life, freakking cold.....then after getting wet and dipping about 3 times, the instructor, taught us how to float, if we were to capsize and couldnt swim, the we all tried out floating one by one...which was alright, as the current was calm, and sorta slow.

once we learned that, we got ready for our trekking activity, after some lunch, just to let u knw the food was good, some ants get in the way, but pretty local, the downside was that we were given plates and cups and fork and spoons, so that isnt exactly my forte, as im pretty sensitive to all this theory of having to share stuff and wash it, and at first the stuff we dirty... so it kinda put me off.

so after lunch, we got dressed, and other than the minor adjustments and briefing we were off at about 11.30. in between we took 5 min breaks and a mid-way 30 mins break, the trail wasnt straightforward, and i slipped about a million times, by the time i got there it looked like i had taken a bath in mud, that was how dirty i was and how terrible i was in trekking. when we got to our campsite, which was around 4.30, we still had to setup camp, and cook and stuff, so after trekking for about 5 hours, we tried our bestest to set it up, as rain was set to come in about an hour, my frens and i got ours set up just in time for it to rain, but we still hadnt change and we were smelly and dirty and sweaty and wet!
so some of us decided to get a coooolllld nice dip in the river to at least clean off watever dirt could be washed off. the dip earlier was easy, so this in the pouring rain wasnt any easier...but we manage to get some dip time, and relax for awhile, before i got changed, and my frens got the tent dried up, while that happened i also managed to slip in some tuna snadwich, where we had to open a can of tuna, with a POCKET KNIFE mind you..

the other group arrived as we finished our tent setup, and as for dinner, well let's just say, we were tired to the max, to even consider taking out stuff to cook in. so by 8 most of us were fast asleep. my sleep was pretty good, but had difficulties in sleeping, as i had a pain somewhere didnt knw wat happened to my upper thigh, but it was definitely from all that slipping and sliding from trekking.

DAY 3: someone dcided to be very cheeky and wake us up by mentioning in a MONOTONOUS tone, "wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up,etc" man u just wanted to kill the guy, but it got us up anyway, and it was about 5 i tink, so we had until 6.30 to get out stuff packed and tents away, we managed to get it all done, bring our bags to the river bank and wait for the instructor, who told us to start inflating out own kayak boats, then once that was outta the way we waited for the other group and got our lesson on dangers and paddling and stuf..
the kayakin was damn dangerous and tiring and scary. i at one point was about to quit, cuz it was a nightmare, overalll, really hard, but i did finish, the kayaking wasnt like permai where it was calm seas and a proper boat, and we had all the time in the world stuff... it was the total opposite.

so...basically we trekked for 5 hours, kayaked back 7km and still manage to stay alive...

however once we reached back, we had to wash our equipment and make sure it was all accounted for, which was taking pretty long cuz of the drying of stuff, and people taking turns in bath and the counting of stuff altogther, we finished up by 3 something and at the end of the day we got out phones and wallets and life back and filled out a form, based on our 3 day course and how we rate specific sections on a scale of 1-7, mine were up and down the order...
i cudnt wait to go back home and just see my family, reached the jetty by 5.30 and went straight home!

as for today, everyone had to attend school, as the IB coordinator said, it was necesary and that it u dont , it defeats the purpose of going to a trip like Temburong, but i didnt go anyways, as i had the pain from the camping/trekking activity, and i went to a really good place for therapy to see wat the problem was, turns out i tore some parts of my muscle leg, but it isnt as bad as it seemed, it wud heal in 24 hours provided i can walk slow....

so up until that point, sigh it was a long weekend,

sunburned, until baked crispy insde and out, plus i got some cuts by due to plants, u blive it?? plants?? cuttin me??

man, what a weekend, overall now sitting down reflecting back it was an experience nevertheless, but if had to do it again?? maybe not, unless ive been paid!
before the trip optimistic, after the trip tired,demotivated,aching,all the negative words u a can tink of...

sigh, another day again!!!!!!!!

finally, the weekend has come, and early it has arrived.

tomorrow, wake up round 6-30ish then get dressed up for some ~~FUN~~ bonding time with my frens..
im looking forward to it, just that my bag might be...er....shalll i say, abit over the top...and over the top of my head! (wink wink) if u knw wat i mean...nicky, im sure u get it, now i knw how u feel...LOL.

anyways...i'll post pics up when i do get a chance to take pictures...besides, once we get there, i tink our phones and stuff will be kept by the instructors, so in a way, it's roughing it...

besides that, managed to finish abit of spanish, and business is over and done with, i tink it's just TOK, spanish and math i tink. but it's much better than having like tons of hmk and come back having to finish it all in one night or two at most...

as for tonight, i wanted to go and watch a short my play, some of my frens are taking part in, but since i dont knw where it is, and my dad is kinda busy, i dont wanna bother him..
so if my frens do ever read this blog, good luck and sorry if i cudnt make it..

so let's say i went to the play, i wud be there frm 5-6 then go for some dinner, then watch a movie, which i think wud be pretty gud...

got TEMBURONG this weekend, and another match with JIS, next Tuesday, which is now on their homeground at their school.

just had dinner as well, mannnnn soooooo bloated, had a mexican styled dinner, where it was doritos chips, with hot&spicy chicken fingers, fish fingers, bread-crumbed fish balls, and spaghetti.

off to do some other stuff, dont know wat yet, but just relax!!!!

sooooo exhausted...from FOOTBALL match, score 1-1!! which is better than wat i expected, i expected a lost...so a draw is one up better!! what i learnt in the game yesterday??

yeap, i might look fit, but holy crap, was i fine for 5 minutes, but then from then on, it was all downhill..LOL.

besides that, got some TEMBURONG meeting today, cant wait for the trip next Friday!! soooo much to do, and i guess im expecting it to be a way to get to know more about my classmates and be able to make FRENS again..

also, i joined another CAS activity today..

TODDLER GROUP..which is basically, a 2 hour session where, in a way u supervise over the toddlers, cause the parents or ahmah or there, so no need full attention, just make sure they dont get hurt and look after them from afar..LOL

it was fun, today i was sorta looking after this JAPANESE BOY, soo cute, he was speaking Japanese as well...

his name is HARU, well not too sure bout the spelling but thats how it sounded to me, and he made that, a dinosaur! hahahaha, good fun, next week again..

owh, did i mention i had 2 blackouts again, in a row..

same old story as usual, got some stuff too think of, for eng again, oral presentation next monday. but on the up side at least got FOOTBALL tomorrow!!

not much goin on, just waking up, having scrambled eggs for breakfast, going to school, stdy, chit-chat, be picked up, go home, check some e-mails, nap, dinner, feel bored, then go to sleep, next day all over again for 2 mre years!!!

YAY!! some days there are more to it, just not today i guess..

but i cant wait for the coming months, not days, as i have hmework and assignments, but there is the TEMBURONG trip, which is like camp permai but better, as in the programme, not the fun, chill....camp permai which my frens before was a blast! then after that, i have the trip to PHUKET, hope that, that would be as fun as ever! most of these trips are to fulfill the CAS hours thing, so all in all, win win situation.

speaking of CAS, my frens and i volunteered to do some, well, helping out at a college, called SOAS college in town i tink, where we are gonna be helping some Year 7s with theri reading..so hope i can be a good teacher, for 4 Saturdays, starting from this week!

like i said yesterday was PIRATE DAY! plus Quiz Night

all in all it was really good fun!
lessons were as usual, but most of the teachers as well as students dressed up, not the whole get up with a ship and stuff like that, but the main idea, of having at least a bandana or captain's hat, and some form vest or jacket, would qualify, and most importantly, it was all for FOBISSEA.

as i didnt really take much photos, i only have 2, gud enuf from a camera phone...the rest of my frens had those photography kinds, pretty daunty stuff.

my hat, modified! it was supposed to be a sunhat, but with some bending and pinning and spray-paint, that was the end product, and i must say, awesome!

that's my get-go..whatcha think?? it was the most hot outfit ever, four layers, but for a day of fun, it was pretty fun to experience....(im sooo fat and chubby)..special effects..LOL

there are some of my frens, there arent too shabby, pretty good costumes for everyone, glad everyone was a good sport, as for me, i try to be one now, back in lodge i was like "nooooooo!!...i dont wannnn...but here is a time to change and be a tad different." probably the only thing i wudnt be a gud sport in wud be dancing and public speaking...

alrite, then later that evening, the school had QUIZ NIGHT

the questions, some were like u wud never thought u answer in a million years, like for example:
which KING in the deck of cards, doesnt have a mustache? naturally i was like "WHAT????"..but my fren managed to write down KING OF HEARTS on the answer sheet, havent checked whether it's correct or not, but at least there is an answer.

stuff like that, it was really gud fun, some teachers got the grill together, hotdogs and chilled drinks for sale, proceeds go to MONKEY WORLD!

Today had school..as per usual.

eng was a'ight cuz we watched a short movie clip,so anythin to do with movies and less reading wud do me some gud. then had DT where i continued on a box we're suppose to be making...apparently we started out with a long piece of plank,which was cut into half,then we,ourselves, had to saw off two halves to get four small planks. then join them up to make a four-sided obvious box,which includes A LOT of sawing,nailing mkaing different joints and then attaching a base,then sanding it then varnishing it. im at the point of sanding so not too far off.

then after tht had maths,which wasnt too bad today,did some algebra,but wat im more worried for maths is the test i have on thursday about geometric and arithmetic sequences and series...confusing stuff i must admit..but hopefully i cud just get a passing mark to cope..

then after math i had PSE/PE,played softball again..it was great fun! but really hot..then had to hurry to econs,where we continued on price elasticity...sigh yea econs is econs...

then had football,where again im damn unfit,even the coach said so,but i dont tink im up for losing weight,as once i get tired and stuff i just fall flat and sleep,and have a huge appetite(depending wat im having) for food.

so,i tink i have wat?? 2 months to get into footballing shape!

cross my fingers...

no hmk today,thank goodness..sigh.

but it's already soo late and i havent had one bit to enjoy..came back round 5 then took a shower,which was ages as i washed my hair and all,then changed my blog layout,cuz im sooooo kiasu and weird tht i must put the banner my sis made into a new layout..LOL im already sot liao!

then had dinner,then had to help my dad out to clean the restaurant,as in sweeping, mopping, wiping moving some tables...soooo all tht..was from 5 until 10. so as u can probably imagine,not much or no time at all to just sit down and breathe for a second,and u knw do all those weird but wise stuff like reflect back on life and how it cudve been much better if u did things this way or that way..

just finished econs,business and the long dreaded eng paper..sigh. i tink my brain is fried!

slept at 12 last nite,and woke up 12 hours later,see how tired i am..5 days a week of school..phewww..
to me it seems like school here is longer than lodge,but then again times flies when ur having fun,and back in the days it really was fun.

did i mention,tht im finally able to go to the Phuket trip i talked about..YAY!!!
the trip is around November, staying at the hosting school's boarding hostel. why does that sound kinda scary to me?? i tink it's cuz of those horror movies that have the word Hostel in it. well anyways, the school or shall i say campus is called BIS Phuket just googled it,and u will find the site. i tink it is that campus,cuz on the indemnity form it put BIS Phuket,so shud be correct la.

this wud be the first time where i have traveled out of Malaysia/Brunei without my parents..scary stuff. but im sure i wud have loads of fun,and besides it for school CAS hours anyways...better use school as an excuse to have fun..LOL.

speaking of football field trips, there is another one coming up next month,mid October. it's in KL,which is great and round BS$400-500 for 4 days i tink. but with this trip already i doubt my parents wud let me go for this one. lack of cash,recession recession recession. but no worries, no KL means im goin for this class trip to Temburong,which is abit like Camp Permai,but way better..at least tht's wat my dad says. much more to do and see..so either way,im happy!

just took a shower,and is resting now,feeling sooooo sore

due to the fact tht mother-nature was pretty cruel today...
there was thunder hence some fear of lightning somewhere in the distance,so our football had to b played in the hall,but unfortunately it's too small,so we did circuit training for bout an hour before finally playing a match.

but it was gud fun,all the girls who played were great,glad to be playing with them,considering i am still a new student...

btw,i knw tht if there is thunder and lightning,it's pretty dangerous to be out in the open,but my school had this thunder/lightning detector

i only found out today,and noticed we had one....so our IB Coordinator was screaming to those who were walking across the field to immediately get off....

it was flashing for a fair bit of the hour...

but after tht,we played a match,which was really tiring,goes to show how fat and unfit i am,crap,eat more la Melissa..LOL.

anyways,not much hmk for now,except eng which i still dont get,i never get english anyhoos....

sorry for not updating 2 days in a row,as i have been so tired and exhausted to mention about my school,when it's the school tht is gettin me tired in the first place.

but as im bloggin now,the 2 days have been so so,not too much to mention about,except a few lessons like Teaching Of Knowledge where the teacher taught us something to do with language and ambiguity..
so one example he gave was,

yea well anyways,hoping to get some ~~fake~~ branded football shoes soon,as it's the only thing keeping me from playing football...and speaking of football,there is this field trip sometime in November,whereby we get to go to Phuket Thailand.

however,the whole trip agak agak is round B$1000,so not to sure yet?? cash-strapped at the moment..don wanna make such a big deal out of it,and pressure my dad to look for cash..LOL.

so far,im able to hang in there in terms of studies,but homework im holding on to a thread..
as of this weekend i have one assignment for each subject i take.

Business:a short essay on how a what characteristics a successful hairdresser might have..something like tht.
Econs:pick one question from a past year exam paper and do it..this isnt too bad.
Maths:catch up on past hmk,and do current hmk,while not killing oneself.
Spanish:complete worksheet and write a dialogue..ble almost done with the worksheet.
D.T:type out a...sometin based on the phrase,"there are more to looks than quality"..something like tht,so have to tink bout it and type it out. this is the one im dreading..sigh.

all this now isnt due by next Monday or Tuesday,but i would just like to get things done so i wont hafta worry bout it anymore,and b able to enjoy my weekend,where Monday is a Public Holiday!! ya!!!

right now at this very minute,im all wrapped up,nice and warm...

as for school,besides gettin soaked,i got lost in my last class which was econs,due to the fact tht just for today,the classroom changed and i was gettin changed after PE.

isnt it weird tht we have PE than a class after tht?? tak ada masa to change,very rush again..anyhoos,i went to library instead and got some textbooks registered out,and finish my eng hmk. which btw was hard,eng here isnt like comprehension or stuff like tht,it's always about thinkin outside the box and right now,we're doin poems and plays,readin this book called:

just read one scene so far..sigh tough tough tough.

today,was a long day!

spanish turns out to be very fun today....learnt quite a few phrases..

maths was tough,we learnt something about geometric..uh...yea something like tht..
the examples started off with compound interest,in which i understood,but when it came to puttin other letters in to form a formulae...until then i didnt get it..and from there it was a long hour to go..

then lunch was,hot!!

like temperature hot,almost feeling like a werewolf in twilight,and it's worse when ur in a tropical,equatorial climate enviroment...so yea u can sorta imagine how blistering barnicals hot it was!!

then i had D.T.
this class was totally different frm Lodge..u needs lots of creativity and off the top ideas to do the tasks in class,i ended up having hmk,but more time to do it la.

still got a few hmks to do,but just gonna procrastinate for now..just missing one week is like missing one month worth of syllables..

homework yet to be done:
finish up Business notes
write 10 phrases using I,She,He,You in spanish along with verbs,then write the translation in english.

yea,not too bad right,but im sure this week there would be hoards of paperwork assignments coming in.

then help my bro and dad clean up and rearrange the Secret Recipe cafe and restaurant..hoping to be opened by mid October..(fingers crossed).

pretty tiring,moving tables and chairs around,peeling off protective plastic,sweeping the floor,wiping windows,everything and anything u can tink of,tht we wud normally do in school if we were given a duty schedule.

other than tht,i have been pretty busy during the weekend,writing notes for business,read thru the econs syllables, practice prounouncing spanish alphabets and phrases,learning how to spell them...yea..and ARSENAL unfortunately losing to MANUNITED...the goals were pretty pathetic,coming for manu,but nevertheless it's a goal.

Ohk,i knw it's not September 1st,but i have again broke one of my many promises to start blogging again.

my reason for stating i wud've blog this coming tues,was due to JIS starting then,but cuz of my sudden change in preference to switch to ISB (International School Brunei),which meant i began school,yesterday.

yes..i have switched schools,before i even began..

sooo...my reason for switching schools all of a suddden,is due to my parents mentioning bout a programme called

IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma Programme or in short IB. i have only heard of it recently frm my parents,but after being interested in it,i did some internet surfing ~~while taking advantge of the internet time~~ and was pretty intrigued my the programme.

although it is a very rigorous programme as they described it, i feel it's time to break out of my comfort zone and do something different and challenging,rather than always taking the short-cut and ending up lying to myself and not push myself to the limit,and bottom line,disappointing myself,worst comes to worst my family(specifically my parents).

as the fees dont come cheap, B$24,000, for an 18 mnth intake,excluding exams to be sat,which takes the course 2 years,all in all la. get it??

macam A levels sedikit,but this one u take 6 subs.

for me i took:
English(HL)
Business(HL)
Economics(HL)
Mathematics(SL)
Design & Technology(SL)
Spanish-2nd Language(SL)
*HL=Higher Level SL=Standard Level
yes,maths is compulsory..but no worries..

together with those subjects, i get gain 3 extra credits/points by taking part in:
CAS(Creative,Activity/Active,Service)*somewhere along those lines..apologies..still new here.
this is where u have to active (DUH!!) in activities,events,stuff like charity and field trips..just be active la.

TOK(Teaching Of Knowledge). now this im not too sure bout it,but it's abit like Citizenship,where u learn on views based on religion,politics,stepping into someone shoes and how they wud view things in life..stuff like tht..

EE(Extended Essay) this is where i have to write an essay,approx. 4000 words,on something tht i find interesting and intriguing. resulting in me taking the initiative to do research and write my topic.( it must be a topic i have dcided to stdy from the 6 subs,so mayb i write bout Spanish,or BS..dunno la..)

the maximum points i can score for one subject is 7,being the highest and 1 being the lowest. so overall,7 times 6 is 42,plus 3 if i ace the CAS,TOK,EE.

scholarship range:35 and higher.

but im tryin to go for 40 and above,as i have heard tht for those u have gone to the US,have all gone with scholarships..

what a way to motivate you huh??

so far first day of school was all in all HECTIC!

7:00-reached school to get settled in,was assigned a buddy which was nice,but it wasnt like i stuck round them or anytin. so frm there my buddy slowly introduced me to her frens,and from there frens to frens,on and on and on.

7-ish-went to a room,where i realised was where i was assigned to a tutor group,something like a form teacher,but in lodge,there were 30++ students under 1 teacher,here it's like 9-10 students per teacher,thus forming a tutor group.

my tutor group teacher goes my the name of Ms. Hancox. again..im not familiar with the names of the faculty yet.
she went thru,the lost and found items,and talked about some football event. she asked whether i played football and i shyly nodded in agreement. if im not wrong,the football discussion had something to do with Phuket now,im taking this with a grain of salt,but Phuket,Thailand..really???

moving on,my first class was SPANISH,and my on my,it was like goin to a totally diff coutry. the teacher spoke spanish,mostly thru out the class,which i tink is good pratice..but am told to revise thru the aplhabets and practice pronouciations and spelling...LOL.

been a couch potato these few days,bought some dvds,but have spent most of my time helping my sisters wrap their storybooks.

Kristen Stewart was just like Bella,stuttering her way to greatness..no no really,tht's how she gets the roles. frankly the movie was really nice,one of my favourites now.
also got to see Ryan Reynolds,although im more used to seeing him in comedic movies,he did bring some humour,but wasnt a lead character.

so anyway,there some buzz going round bout UFOs hovering round Brunei somewhere in the kampung. apparently a 16 year old boy noticed it early in the morning and dcided to record it on his handphone.

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 16-year-old boy witnessed what appeared to be several yellow flashing lights hovering above the open field of Kampong Lumut Housing Development area on Tuesday morning and filmed the encounter on his mobile phone.

The suspicious yellow flashing lights dotting the bright sky of Lumut reportedly occurred for over 30 minutes between 6 and 7am, said the teen's father, Awg Zunadee bin Haji Rahman, 41.

The mysterious lights were first spotted by his 18-year-old daughter Dyg Saiiedatul Ilmie when she opened the back door of the kitchen and saw two unusual continuous yellow flashing objects stationary above the field.

She woke her brother, Awg Mohd Hafiz, up who took a video of the mysterious sighting using his Nokia 2680 mobile phone with 0.3 mega pixel cameras.

Eventually, the whole family got up in time to witness the strange encounter from their home at the Kampong Lumut National Housing Development.

Awg Zunadee claimed there were initially few flashing lights forming a straight line and later numerous lights appeared, as many as 15, flashing on and off.

He said the yellow flashing lights appeared in a different formation and towards the end of the display, the unidentified flying objects (UFOs) appeared to form a diamond shape before the lights abruptly vanished.

He added that this was his second sighting at the area, which is an about one and-a-half kilometre away from his home. His first encounter took place last year at the same spot when he saw a craft cruising slowly across the sky and towards the BLNG Lumut gas flare before it quickly vanished.

Awg Zunadee has been sceptical on the existence of extra terrestrial life but after the sighting on Tuesday, he is determined to get to the bottom of the strange encounter.

Two Belait commuters, who contacted the Borneo Bulletin, also confirmed they spotted the strange bright objects but they did not make any attempt to pull over and capture them on their mobile phones.

Meanwhile, Awg Hazarry bin Haji Ali Ahmad from the Astronomical Society of Brunei clarified that the sighting could possibly be a meteor shower as the International Meteor Organisation has confirmed that July 17 August 24 is the meteor shower season. And the meteor shower is due to reach its peak on August 12.

"The speeding meteor will usually break up due to the air and heat friction. This usually occurs about a few seconds. But this still does not explain the sighting which mysteriously occurred for over 30 minutes," he added.

The planet Venus is also at its brightest period and could be misidentified as a strange object, he noted.

Awg Hazarry stated that this is the first incident of strange sky sightings in Brunei he has received this year and recalled a similar sighting of a strange flying object in Kampong Manggis last year.

just watched bits and pieces of Terminator: The Sarah Chronicles

it's not as bad as it looked at first. but because my dad was watching it,i just join him la.

this tv series didnt last long though,only 2 seasons and it was down the drain. i tink one of the reasons was cause of how confusing it can get.

here's the

At the end of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sarah Connor, her son John and the 800 Series Terminator successfully destroy the T-1000, as well as the arm and computer chip from the first film's Terminator. The T-800 from the second film, at its own request, is then also destroyed in order to eliminate any future technology that could be used to create Skynet. In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, it is revealed that Sarah subsequently dies of cancer and that Judgment Day has not been averted but merely delayed. At the beginning of the television series, Cromartie, a T-888 is sent back to the time following Terminator 2: Judgment Day, to kill John. i really like this series,hope it can at least be running until season 5,as well as keeping the lead actors. i hate it when they start to reshuffle the cast,thinkin it wud make the show better,but honestly most of the time it doesnt.

gonna watch this one first,as for 90210,i'll watch it when my sisters finish their exams as they also want to watch. no worries.

btw,luckily when i post,the blogger-home doesnt calculate how long it takes to type out a post,cause if they did,it wud be so embarrassin. wats worst is tht i just had a black out,which lasted bout 30 mins (to me it felt like an hour plus plus).

alright,so not much to blog bout these days,except for my brother monopoliZing the internet connection by continuing to play W.O.W.

so right now im using the com whenever i can.

i watched Little Ashes last week actually. but forgot to post bout it,as i needed time to let the idea of Robert Pattison playing a gay character sink in.

yes,he played a gay get over it! =P

he's performance and acting chops were really good. Robert played Salvador Dali,a spainish painter.

the movie wasnt wat i had expected as first,i tot of it as a drama of sorts,but with the chemistry tht Rob was pulling on-screen i sensed a Brokeback Mountain was on its way,and certainly in time it did,all the makings of Brokeback Mountain was up and running.

so just came back from the movies,sigh,kinda tired and lazy,but man was it a nice movie.

The Proposal
really nice movie,so funny and turns out like any other chick-flick the ending was destined for greatness and bags of comedic romance. The ending by the way wasnt how i expected it to be,then again i don tink i was actually thinkin bout the ending too much,but i have to say,the soundtrack provided and Sandra's plus Ryan's acting is just too good to be true. their chemistry was just......just just.

Ryan Reynolds handsome right?? unfortunately he's married to Scarlett Jo.

Sandra Bullock pretty right?? she's married too folks,to Jesse James,a biker/tattoo-ed guy,try googling him,he should look familiar.

if u guys have watched the movie and still want more of them,i suggest these 2 movies for u guys to watch,they may not be in it together but watching the movie would be worth ur while if ur bored during the weekends,or just dcide to listen to my lovely advice.

The Lake House definitely one of my favorite movies. so romantic,the relationship between the 2 lead characters are just so complex tht after watching it,i did get kinda confused and ended up drawing a time line to understand the movie. just forget i said tht and watch the movie if u havent yet.

next up is the movie Definitely, Maybe im sure ive recommended u guys to watch it before,which is why i dont need to give u another reason to get ur asses to go and watch this movie,watch it 19 times also can. love Isla Fisher in tht movie,so funny and pretty,and how talented and swiftly she can pull off the american accent.( mind u she's australian).

Back!

the trip back to Kuching was very refreshing. glad i made the trip,even if it was just for a week.

so basically,when i went there,i knew tht i was bound to be eating loads of local dishes,and boy i had close to 4-5 meals a day,cause my aunt memang hungry one bah,so memang got supper at like 10 or 11. sigh,there goes my gym of 3 months,down the drain. LOL
alrite,less talk and more pictures. im not gonna dive into details bout every single day i was in kuching cause some days are irrelevant.

so i stayed with my aunt and uncle along with my mum,at this place called, Bintawa
and there,amazingly i survived a week with no astro and internet,but keep in mind survived,i was going outta my mind always tuning in to watch nt7 or tv2 or even tv3 at night.
while i was there,my cousin also lived there,so everyday wasnt really ever tht dull,but there were many toddlers,not kids but toddlers. here are some pics of the rascals.

this boy,is not related to me,he's just someone my aunt is babysitting for.

remember the doctor in which i posted bout earlier last year i tink,well she was on the same flight back with my mum and i to Kuching. sigh coincidence enough?? i noticed her immediately,and as she saw me,i tink she sort of found my face familiar,but i didnt make any eye contact of such,she's still a rude person,to me anyways.

and after the random cat thing,plus walking along Jalan Padungan at 9:43 pm at night for bout 10 mins,and seeing a cockroach and fruits and smelling the burns of incense sticks,crap i totally forgot how to spell some words,we got a 2 minute lift back to Tom's courtesy again of Anas's dad.
and then there were,four. Barnaby,Holly,Samantha,and Me!
we dcided to wait for our rides at Bing's

ordered a hot vanilla drink,however in my opinion coffee bean's version is much yummier!

tht was it for tht lovely evening of wackiness,and definitely spontaneous fun!

the next day,my mum told me tht there was an eclipse,which was probably why the day was so nice and cooling,no direct sunlight,almost like Forks in Twilight,sigh Twilight,i love the Twilight Saga. my favourite book is the Eclipse,no pun intended.

tht afternoon,as i did skip bowling the night before,i got invited to join them,as i didnt bowl at all,why not la,im a spolit sport anyway.

we met up at the BDC bowling alley,it was me,Barnaby,Holly,Leonard,Barry,Rivaldi,and Barn's fren,Esmeralda. sorry if i spelt wrongly.

so tht was basically my time in Kuching,considering i could've spent more time with Katrina! but then again,it didnt happen.

so i came back,gaining weight but feeling so much better.

got some good old fashioned steak the night before yesterday,man it was soooo gooddd!

yea,thts it for now,cant wait for New Moon soundtrack to be released,and to watch the Proposal,and New Moon the Movie itself.

im blogging at this time,cause earlier i had nothing to blog bout,tht was until i went to buy burger buns for dinner and spotted a really cool car parked at the far end.

Unbelievably my second post 2 days in a row!!

but let's not get too cocky now right??

so my random topic for today wud be tht, my brother taught me how to play poker. now learning is one thing but playing it in facebook with online chips and in real life with real money is 3 different things.

managed to learn the basics in a few minutes,then played a few hands with my brother using paperclips,so it was really tht nerve-wracking if i lost or won.

then after tht lil tutorial,my brother and i logged in to facebook and played TEXAS HOLDEM POKER which is basically where a lot of people wud hone their online skills in playing poker.
but the thing is tht when playing in facebook,help is right beside u,even if u dunno how gud or bad ur card is,the com wud show ur best card or best possibilities,then frm there u can choose to either:
fold,which is fold la,back out.
check,where u check to see whether anyone else wud raise their game or fold or check as well.
raise,is where u are confident of ur cards,and chances tht u raise the stakes,by adding more chips and raising the pot.

if u guys find tht reading this post wud get u into a poker tournament,u guys can keep dreaming,cuz for me,it's tough already,even if u knw how to play Big 2 or Taiti and knw the combinations and stuff..honestly tough!!

but anyhoos,i played in facebook,and managed to become a Pro100K in 1 night,tht is where my luck was riding high,but come the next day,which was yesterday afternoon,after i BLOGGEDmy luck wasnt really there,then again,i might have forgotten how to play for all i knw.

so going to try again this afternoon,after i BLOG. i bet Nicky feels like slapping me everytime i bold or italic the word blog. LOL,sorry Nicky can't help it,im doing my best to not do it,but can't help it,just love to kacau u,hugs!

Alrite...

it's been almost a month since i last came to blog..but be sure to be expecting at least a post everyday, all thanks to Nicky Evelyn. (yes,lovely our classmate)

i will be trying my very best to post everyday,on any random topic and if possible about my life..LOL..anyway my life cud be random anyways...cud be a random life for all i knw.

now..how all this began??

well my frens,it was quite simple really.

we began chatting online last night,and we manage to catch on a few things about our life(school,sushi, and of course blogging!)

but because i HAD left my blog unattended, it feels almost dead, regardless of how beautiful my banner and music are. so wat Nicky was trying to do and she succeeded in,was to get me to start blogging again due to the fact tht she was the only one blogging. well,hahaha not anymore for today.

so we made a lil wager, in which beginning from today 13th July onwards until the end of the year both of us have to post at least once, about anything. (Owh, i just remembered..Nicky, when ur reading this which im sure u are, anything doesnt include TAGS i knw it's totally random and it's bout urself,but just don't! k? =P)

so anything besides tags bout ur life...let's just say u can post anything tht isnt like a standard issue type thing.

eg:
school circulars
acceptance letters
warning letters
demerit forms
swine flu forms
....forms
etc. forms

wat they all dont have in common is tht the names are always changed as well as the dates,but other than tht the skeleton is there for u to fill in,haha honestly it doesnt take much effort to do. (wink wink,nudges Nicky. right? right?)

so the same goes with tags,just copying the tag and erasing other people's details and filling in ur own. then DONE! one post. wow..great job capernicus! LOL

ah man,i tink we got this cleared up,so if either one of us fail to hold up our end of the bargain,the loser will belanja the winner, a typical STANDARD bowl of kolo mee and a can of STANDARD green tea.

besides this lil bet,i wanna let u guys knw how the orientation went,hopefully by the time students frm the school who bother to read my blog wud have seen past this post.

not tht i wud bitch bout them,but the orientation was a real disappointment in my eyes.

because when i first thought of the school,i always imagined the school to be an exclusive only kinda thing,where the students were really bright and well brought up.

but it turns out tht wat i described was the last thing on my list when i attended the orientation.

ohk,i admit it,i did get my dates mixed up and miss the first day,but nevertheless it wudnt have made a difference.

like i said before there was an interview,so i tot (wow!) must be really hard to get into. so my hopes were still high,and cuz most of the school faculty are Aussies,British,Irish,etc.

all was well,until the second day,it was of course with the typical everyone staring at u kinda atmosphere.

tht i cud handle, it was almost destined to every new student to experience it once in their life,then again depending how times can the student matriculate in their life while still studying. unless ur a Cullen, u can't top them in the number of graduation caps and not to mention money spent.

moving on,the supposedly second of orientation or the first for me was a let down,cuz the teachers,were erm, kinda in a hurry to say. they did everything very quickly and they were not of the gentle sort. eg: when they give handouts,it's not like how Ms Leong or (i'm gonna regret saying this) Mdm Armstrong hand it out,slow and patient. the teachers practically shove it in ur face,tht's if ur faces were tht close.

and the students,not frenly at all. ohk,they do ask me where im from and my name MELISSA TAN, which happens to be my classmates name,no joke!

i have another classmate with the same name and surname. this MELISSA TAN is very different from me,dyed hair or blonde highlights if im not wrong,she smokes and let's just say doesnt look like the kind tht wud be early to class. i wudnt say she's not educated cuz during orientation the students who studied there before,answers some of the questions like they did their research, and yea i guess i din but it's not like i knew.

so back to my imagination...
smart (yes) well brought-up (depends on wat the definition of well brought-up means to u)
exclusive (not anymore to me)

i tink i shud stop goin on bout this before it gets into me. but i just had to let it out,so it's not just me who knws bout my worst case scenario alter ego and where im goin to be complaining everyday for 2 years. ( let's hope this is all just an illusion and the first proper day of school,everyone wud be frenly and nice.)

just dropping in to update a little on my life...LOL..if i have an interesting one so far..

Finally got my acceptance letter today..
i was meant to get it by mail yesterday..but due to some misunderstanding and the utter disappointment in the way Brunei gives addresses..i failed to receive it..

so i got a call frm the school..calling for me to have to go and pick it up myself..which in my opinion ruins the element of surprise for them to have to say..

PLEASE COME TOMORROW...TO PICK UP YOUR ACCEPTANCE LETTER way to burst my bubble..carpernicus...

so anyhoos..i went with some nerve..to pick it up..and the school was in full swing..with the carparks full..and man i knw im in Brunei..where..the humble citizens..spend their money...on handphones..and cars
so it was no surprise tht when i was leaving with my the life saving letter in my arms..i saw a very (tricked/dubbed/worked-out,etc-ed[watevers suits u]) ride...and it definitely wasnt an ordinary ride...

it was like tht..except it was black and the windows were tinted black with no license plate..
must be someone related to the royal family..

so...tht definitely was humbling...made our camry feel..like some company car..okay scratch tht..it is a company car..but it didnt help in making our car feel superior at all..LOL

after tht...it was pretty much reading the letter in the car..and going thru the booklist..and prices of stationary packs and books and uniforms..bla bla bla..

besides tht...i got a different trainer..cuz my diet just isnt working..my cravings for food is just immense..and i gained like 3kg since i joined..some of it is muscles but majority of it..lately has been building up to be fat..and man its tough..

so i just got a new program..really short..but intense..aimed more towards the upper torso and abdomen area..so in one week..my trainer is pushing me to lose..1.5 kg..starting frm yesterday..so hopefully in the next 4 weeks..or by next month..i wud have lost the weight i ignorantly gained...and put on some muscles and feel confident again..LOL

also before i head off...i just wanna say for those CSI:MIAMI fans out there..season 7 is the best yet..if ur an Eric and Calleigh fan..the cliffhanger poised for season 8 is fantastic..don wanna give spoiler..but make sure u tune in to it comeing out on AXN sometime..not too sure with astro..(one word Malaysia..soo don get too excited yet)...season 8 wud premiere sometime in August as well..in America so hoping tht August comes sooner..so tht i can get a glimpse of the first episode..then school...begins..until November or the latest December..

OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!

i just watched the NEW MOON trailer..and to be honest..it was fantastic..

i was really blown away by it..even if it was really short..bout a min and a half..but it made my day..i cud just watch it over and over again!!

everyone looks..so beautiful..granted they are vampires..but people..or werewolves..like jacob..he is ripped with muscles..and looking HOT!

November...is almost an eternity's wait..after this mouthwatering trailer..10 times better than Twilight..and the best is yet to come for the saga and the talented cast of it..

congrats to rob,kristen,cam and the rest of the Twilight cast as they won 5 popcorn awards from mtv movie awards..which aired yesterday..unfortunately..astro being malaysian and all..didnt subscribe to it..thus we astro subscriberss....arent able to watch it..cacat one!!

but im glad..Twilight dominated the awards...rather than seeing slumdog take any award..mayb best soundtrack at most??

back to reality now...today..month of June..time for me to get my act together and begin studying..as im sort goin to..with my books already in front of me..but somehow not open..

i feel...i procrastinate too much nowadays...always blaming my gym for my weariness...and always wasting my time by napping..i feel so ashamed...but hopefully with some sense still left in me..i would be able to at least study chapter by chapter and not page by page..LOL...(fingers crossed)!

so my interview...wasnt exactly wat i was hoping for..but then again it wasnt something i was dreading..
it wasnt something tht was in an office..and formal or anything..it was like having a chat..very casual and well,definitely more than the 15 minutes printed in the booklet..

so basically.. Mr David Hobday
is the Head of Sixth Form..which is where i wud be in...or in another words..Year 12.
we discussed about wat subjects i was going to take and i manage to decide on
1.Business Studies
2.Economics
3.Psychology
4.History
5.English Studies

so...the first 3 i knew i was going to take..but History was more of a spur of the moment decision..cuz it was either tht..or GEOGRAPHY..or ACCOUNTING..and my dad mentioned tht unless if i wanna be a serious accountant...it wasnt necessary and no point to study in detail when i would touch on it in Business Studies...and as for Geography..even though i got an 'A'..i wasnt about to go thru with learning more about tectonic plates and ecosystems and all tht all over again..
the 'A' was due to forcing myself to study...so since im starting over..i don wanna stress myself out..

all in all..tht just leaves History...which is something im interested in at least..also the English Studies..wasnt actually necessary but cuz i might wan to go to Australia after JIS..i need to take English Studies..

but no worries...
at least sleepless nights are being shortened by half..now with more or less 3-4 months to go before school starts..i need to start studying and catch up on wat my mind hasnt been doing all this while...
Determination and Patience would bring me to September 1st..the beginning of A Levels..the beginning of a new term..and life

oh man..just typing this out is getting me nore nervous than i can be..

totally ang-mo...so im not expecting anything less than a "mdm armstrong" style or way of talking..

15 long minutes..hope it all goes well...as long as i knw tht i have been accepted into JIS..wud make my sleepless nights all the better..and probably cut down on the sweaty plams/red cheeks/ and heavy breathing...(takes a deep breathe).

right now..just gettin it out of my system..and of course letting u guys knw wat im goin thru...while im just passing time..as i wait until midnight..
not cuz i cant sleep..which im pretty sure i cant after midnight..but cuz my dad is finally coming back from Manila..4 days can be a killer when his dlicious western cooking isnt around..not tht my mum doesnt cook equally dlicious food...but she is more asian-ish towards dishes..hence eating RICE.

although thru-out this week...ive only eaten rice once...and it was kinda necessary as the foodcourt served almost everything tht tasted good 'with' rice...so no choice for lunch...but other than tht..ive made it thru one week without rice!!

i dunno whether it has helped me look like i have lost weight..cuz i checked today..and i gained a KG..which isnt looking gud in statistics terms..but my parents told me..not to worry cuz im still growing and tht i shudnt be too worried bout my weight..as long as i have lost the spare tyre round my waist and have gotten rid of the muffin top..i might as well feel great..and i do..manage to see my toes...without bending over..just needed to suck it in for half a sec..LOL..

since...i have calmed myself down..i might as well..post bout something tht i want but cant get in a million years...not tht i cant dream and post bout it right??

this luxury item..is of course a necessity nowadays but it depends on the type of model u wan..and it doesnt come cheap..thts for sure.

i tink my blog is one of the saddest..dying ones..due to my life not being too interesting at the moment cuz i don have school...and basically everyday i wake up and do the same thing...
seriously..let me take u thru one day with me..
my alarm rang...8:15..gets up and turns it off and goes back to sleep for a little while longer..until round 8:30-ish..then gets up for the second time this morning..then takes a quick shower to wake up my senses for the morning..gets changed..then i head downstairs to get breakfast which is basically a glass of milk.. skimmed to be exact..99.9% fat free ..desperate i knw.
then get my gym things ready..change of clean shirt..slippers for the change of shoes..and filling up my water bottle. then i just wait till my dad comes down..either tht or he is already waiting for me...

heads to car..while my dad gets his own stuf ready,files and coffee...stuff like tht. once in the car i turn the music on..and this just shows how much time i have on my hands...begins the morning talking to my dad and how his latest project is going as he is really busy with the opening of

which doesnt open till..early july..round tht time..so until then he is running round contacting contractors,agents..and many more important people. also just to add he is heading to Manila tomorrow to interview the shortlisted group of potential waiters,waitresses and cooks as well as bakers...going till sunday...gonna miss his cooking..
omg! sorry for droning off there...abit too much right??
so anyway..by this time im sure im already at the gym...just a quick drive..bout 5 mins..Brunei is such a small place..small town small country..
as i enlight..i of course say goodbye to my dad..then head up the stairs..to begin my workout..
walking..walking up the stairs...while looking for my membership card..then once i reach the reception..i manage to get my card and exchange it for a locker key..
nod my head and smile at a few familiar staff..and put my bag into the locker...then i head out to the cardio section..
today i have a new program card..so i jogged on the treadmill for 20 mins...then used the stepper for 10 mins..(btw a stepper is basically a machine where i just keep stepping like ur going up on the stairs..its more intmidating in the flesh and torture..) but the stepper is good for toning the thighs..
then after tht i used the cross trainer for 10 mins... so all in all today cardio for 40 mins..after getting warmed up..yes this is just the beginning..i head out to finish the rest of today's program..which was
1.Leg Press-something like squating..but ur sitting upright..and the legs are in front of you and angled 90 degrees..and u push ur legs forward..and the weight i was pushing was 27 kg..not too bad...(repeat 15 times..and tht is one set..so 3 sets)
2.Lunges-bending on knee forward so one is behind u..both angled at 90 degrees as well..and with tht i have 2 dumbells in my hand 1kg each..i just simply bend down and as i do i lift the weight in my hands..then i rise up but just until the 90 degree angle and back down again(15 times on one side..then switch 15 again..and tht is counted as one set)
3.Vertical Chest- this is where the weight is 16kg if im not wrong..and this is quite straightforward..with ur hands on the handle just in front of ur shoulders..u lift the handles upwards..and its sort of like putting ur hands up in the air...but with 8 kg on each side...get the picture?? (15 times..and 3 sets)
4.Front Raise- where i hold a dumbell on each hand..this morning it was 1kg..and it was simple...just lining ur arms in front of urself and lifting it up and back down..(15 times..3 sets)
5. there were about 2 or 3 more...but i cant remember it for now..and i knw u guys had just sighed a huge relief..i knw going to the gym is totally boring when u arent the one doing it...but after all..its there for me to take advantage of and hopefully its working...cant really tell..with the mirrors here in Brunei..only you guys are able to tell..whether i have lost weight or not...

so tht was the gym..i start usually round 9...and finish round 10:30-11. get picked up by my dad...and he drops me off...before he goes off to continue his busy day..i get into the house..and head for my room..turning on my air-con and closing my room window and closing the blinds...then take a shower..
after tht i surf the net for bout an hour...then head for lunch..which was baked macaroni with chicken and cheese on top..plus a fuji apple and coke zero.
after lunch..finish using the com..then i read eclipse...about to finish it hopefully better than never...buht then again im just wasting time..and letting my food digest..after bout an hour or so..my sisters come back and out of all things to say to me...
my youngest sister comes in and is fanning herself with her shirt..and says

"Don't worry im not using the com...just in here cuz our air-con broke down.."..by this time i was already so sleepy tht i just cudnt get up and just chase her out...before i cud get to tht..she and my other tall gangly sister escorted their way out..and they didnt bother me until now that is..while im bloggin they are insulting the music which is playing...
so before i was blogging..i took a nap..and nap in my books..is 2 hours...i knw i abit insane...but i did a hard day's work..not to bad to reward myself..by sleeping right??
woke up and decided to watch this movie..called

good movie to pass the time...some romance movie..while i watched it i munched on another fuji apple..lays classic..and kickapoo joy juice..
after the movie...i got bored...stretched myself..and decided to blog..

so here i am...blogging...
if u guys think tht this is interesting...well ur easy to please..cuz i do this everyday..most probably until i have school...or until i go back to kuching..hopefully i cud spend time with kat..sigh...exams right kit-kat??

so..so..so
sigh...apologies.

for the week i guess..i have been kinda lazy and a tad busy..
went to get my IC,bruneian IC done..and wat i found kinda annoying was 3 things:
1.my hands are always on the cutting edge of sweating..and tht is one flaw im pretty embarrass to have...so it became a nuisance when i cudnt get my print to be scanned cuz of the the sweat..but after 10 mins...let's just say..i had the help of tissue paper.
2.the person who was doing my IC..mentioned something bout my dad's dependant pass being expired..so they were saying its actually not allowed,better get it done,if not u wud get fine..kinda expression..tht was all she mentioned..however her colleague who resemble Mr Peter..but wifout glasses and had bigger eyes..with a few moles here and there...well this guy was in a way asking my dad why didnt he get it renewed..but my dad being my dad confused him and came up with tons of stories and confused him more by flipping his passport pages back and forth..intimidating him altogether..
(but honestly the guy who was either really sleepy or hungry..was a real pain in the ass..).
3. and lastly wat sucks is dat i have to go back and do all tht all over again..once my dad has his dependant pass renewed...just great right??

so besides tht load of annoyance...i manage to be a bit more discipline with my gym..going everyday..and with my usage of internet..using for a short just to check mail,blog,fansites,and abit of googling!
not bad for discipline huh?

watched TWILIGHT again..im just being the obssessive,hooked on something type..honestly if there was a award for sexiest cast..hands down..it wud be the cast of Twilight...

just like that..i go from being obese to healthy in 2 weeks...(jumps for joy). I am sooooooooooo
relieved!!
when i first checked my weight..it was expected cause i did have a weighing scale at home..but with digital u can never go wrong..so of course i weighed in and this piece of report was printed out..which had figures of ur total body mass,fluid mass,bones mass..mass this mass that la..
so i looked thru and well..fat is spread out like butter on bread in my body..its like everywhere!!!
a percentage here..a percentage there..
in total....
32.2% which is a lot...might i say...obese to be frank..they had a chart u cud refer to..in terms of fat percentage and all tht..so with tht number in mind..i trained like hell for 2 weeks...and like i said..im quite happy with wat i lost even though its not like im jessica alba already..

from 32.2% to 31%..and just like that...im on the brink of healthi-ness!!
i knw 1.2% its as encouraging as it might sound..but its better than nothing..and for sure im taking it..
2 weeks..pfft..bagus lo!!

now just gotta keep this going..aiming for the fat mass to drop to at least 29% in 2 weeks..
keep in mind...after obese..its healthy and after tht its FIT 3 letters that cud just put me on cloud 9 and leave me be....(sigh).

NO SWEAT!! lol...
no pain no gain is the motto...

besides im glad i manage to find out my results..otherwise wats the point of going to the gym...good birthday present for myself!!

Sorry for the lack of updates..ive been busy..and this time i really do mean it!!

for the past..wat?? 6-7 months ive been telling u all tht ive been meaning to go to the gym and losing weight and growing taller..almost as if to say i wish i cud look like this

LOL..real ambitious..but possible...odds...50/1..haha.
im hoping to reduce the odds..as i have been going to the gym...

FINALLY !!

so..im keeping true to my word and promise i made to SAM and KAT..ahem ahem,are u reading this?? im goin to the gym now.....lol..

today wud be my fifth day..and im feeling really gud...bout my body and goin to the gym and sweating it out..

usually i wud be there at 9..then give my UNLIMITED PASSPORT card...to receive my locker key..then collect my program card..which is basically a program my trainer came up with..in the course of 3 months..for now..

so..after that..i wud always begin with cardio first..basically..the treadmill..cross trainer..cycling..or rowing..
then after cardio is done with..i begin with watever program is written on the day..

so like today..i worked on my triceps,abs, and thighs..which wasnt as bad as the first few days...
somehow im getting the hang of it..
only one thing..is killing me..

having to wake up at 8 every morning..to get ready and stuff..bye bye long hours of worthless sleep..and hello real world!

other than keeping myself busy with the gym..i have also bought the dvd collection of:

seasons 1-6..waiting for 7 to b complete..then i can splurge my kiamsiap money on it...malaysian way of saying..."hey ive waited long enuf to deserve some kind of ~~stingy~~ discout..by purchasing in bulk..".
but..i really cant wait for season 7..as my 2 favourite characters finally get together...(btw if ur a fan and wudnt wan to hear a spolier..don bother reading the next few words im gonna say..)

Yesterday was an afternoon of surprises..adrenaline type of surprises..but nothing tht cud possibly give u a heart attack...

so to start off...i dropped my dad off at the airport in miri..so basically it was a 2 hour drive to miri and back.
we left around 2.15 and reached miri at 4. rushed round to get stuff frm my uncle and all tht...quick snack..looked a my watch and kinda panicked cuz it was almost 5..which is bad..due to my DATE with Jordana Brewster and Fast and Furious which starts at 7.30..
so if u do the math...do u tink i missed the show?
with tht in mind..my dad's fren drove at a ~~fast~~ reasonable speed to get us back to brunei at 7.15..again i had to change and all tht..
but with all of this lil rushing round..i manage to slip into my seat and watch a few trailers..

as for the movie..it definitely lived up to my expectation..the storyline made sense and the cars and music with the original cast...just made my evening an evening to remember..

Hey all...im really sorry for the lack of updates and such..its just tht ive been so caught up with my A levels..which started just this week...
i know ive mentioned a few times to y'all tht i wud start in aug/sep..but 2 weeks ago..their office called my home..and ask if i cud come for a short interview with the dean.

Bla bla..asking bout my interests,and if there was anything i wanted to ask bout the subjects tht i wud b taking..and finally questions bout the school of JIS.

Intimidating as usual..but now tht im in..i guess i mre excited than nervous...(hyperventilating)!!!

a'ight..since i got tht out of the way..cuz of my busy busy first week..i had to relax..manage to watch 3 movies..last weekend..as well as catch the premiere of 'Confessions of a Shopaholic'.

nice movie..even if i tot the movie was abit gay..still think it is a tad weird..if ur bored and desperately need to past the time...then watch keeping in mind tht Paul Bettany is the only thing pulling u thru it..

this movie was like a 3 1/2 outta 5..the plot was gud..but at one point wat i found weird was when a vampire was executed and she happened to be pregnant with a vampir-ish/werewol-ish child..the woman was burned to death due to the sunlight..and amazingly the baby survived..
and thts how Underworld was created starring Kate Beckinsale..who i must say is pretty hot in a latex suit...

just to share with u guys..there was some interesting facts bout the people in this franchise..Kate Beckinsale who starred in the first 2 films...used to date Michael Sheen..
when she wasnt cast into the latest film..i had no intention of watching it..but after googling all day long..i found out why she wasnt cast...
A:cuz she was to appear as the baby who was still alive in the mum's womb and wud seek revenge..
B:her ex(Michael Sheen) was casted and starred in the movie..playing a werewolf who in character was the father of her character..(time to say together..GROSS)
to make things much more twisted but interesting..the director of all 3 films..Len Wiseman is the current husband of Kate Beckinsale..
now tht's wat i call drama...

immediately i paced outta the airport with my mum in tow..and had to just get outta there...
WAT A WAY TO START MY HOLIDAYS HUH???

so..another day another FRIDAY the 13th..wat a way to start another weekend....wooooo!!!

so during my holidays..in Kuching i meant..
it was just mornings where..i thought i was dreaming..nice dreams..then until a rooster sings..and then i tot we were mayb i cud b bck in Bintulu..at my grandma's place..but it turns out tht my neighbour is very kampung..and kampung means..lots of roosters to sing at 4 am in the morning..how nice right??
natural alarm clock....solar powered...
im damn lucky

so..basically i stayed home to finish with the packing...and at times i visited school..went out to town..
watched
WATCHMEN

two words..

useless storyline..
unnecessary scenes..man..i was gettin abit fed up with the movie...and it was bloody cold again in the cineplex...shivering my bored ass off..

but on the upside...the characters were cool..one in particular..

Silk Spectre II
she might not have specific powers or knowledge..however one things for sure is...whenever a baddie comes along..she can kick ass(literally)..gud asset to have when the rest of her collegues are tough men..who think they have skill..(basically the characters are washed up wanna-be superheros tryin to save the earth..something they find difficult...if they cant even save themselves and get carried away with their fantasy land).

so..tht was Watchmen..went to watch wif Barnaby,Marc and Daniel Lee. it was nice to have gotten the chance to meet up with them..but it different when u go to the same school and dcide to meet up in town for a weekend and another thing when u are the visitor and u dcide we all shud meet up..

becuz..being their classmate and their fren are 2 different things..
if u were their classmates..u wud have tons to talk bout..wifout even coming across the word awkward..and eventually silence...
but when u are the visitor..i find it..in my opinion..kinda difficult to talk to the guys...
i'll tell wat we talked bout...
their upcoming exams
their lessons
their classmates
....
thts as far as a conversation cud go...but then again mayb we all were just too tired to even mutter a word...

but..ive never regretted it...it was great to have spent time wif them..

then...coming back....in which we drove back...my parents and i stopped by a lil wooden kiosk..which sold oranges,pineapple,and Durian !!!

between the 3 of us..we ate bout 6 tiny but incredibly sweet and creamy durians..just like wat martin yan 'hell on the outside,but heaven on the inside'.

all tht..mmmmmm

my lovely parents...

along the way...we stayed overnight..at a hotel in Sibu..had a one pound beef pattie with french fries..much better than having somthing really oily...and local.

this trip wasnt as normal and fun as it cud be..cuz my lil cousin is really..well she was definitely being a kid...super energetic..along the way in the car..she was holding up her fake plastic phone..and pretending to take pictures(making tht noise when lenses close up)..and making phone calls(which wud be talking to herself).

and she did tht for about half the trip bck from sibu to bintulu..and then she fell asleep in a very uneasy position..
conclusion
she ended up puking just as we reached bintulu..
here she is..

back here in brunei..ive been psyching myself up for the release of Fast and Furious..coming out April 2nd..i knw ive mentioned it a thousand times but cant help it..

AN Asian woman in Los Angeles is suing MILEY CYRUS for $4billion (£2.8billion) over the now infamous photo of the Disney star slanting her eyes.

Lucie J Kim has filed a class action lawsuit, claiming to represent the one million Asian Pacific Islanders living in LA.

In court documents she says: “Miley intentionally puts her hands to either side of her face and pulls the sides of her eyes to slant them in mockery of the stereotypical physical features of persons of Asian Pacific Island descent and national origin.

“It was clearly an act of racism, prejudice and pure ignorance.”

Lucie adds that: “She knew or should have known that her image would be publicly disseminated via the media, which Cyrus knew focused on her private life.”

The lawsuit says that each Asian Pacific Islander is entitled to $4,000 (£2,800), which adds up the $4billion figure.
